The reason why WO3 can be used for preparing heat insulation material is that WO3 has good light absorption performance. It mainly absorbs ultraviolet light and near-infrared light in sunlight. Therefore, it is necessary to study the influence of the concentration of additive Na2SO4 on the light absorption properties of WO3.

The UV-visible absorption properties of the prepared WO3 were analyzed by UV-visible diffuse reflectance spectroscopy using an ultraviolet-visible spectrophotometer. In the picture, the Na2SO4 concentration of curve a is 0.5M, the Na2SO4 concentration of curve b is 0.25M, and the Na2SO4 concentration of curve c is 0.125M. The DRS image can directly reflect the light absorption of WO3 material at different wavelengths. It can be seen from curve c in the picture that the hexagonal phase WO3 nanowires prepared with 0.125M Na2SO4 as additive have relatively strong absorption in the ultraviolet region. When the concentration of Na2SO4 is 0.5M and 0.25M, the light absorption rate of the hexagonal WO3 nanowires in the ultraviolet region is almost equal.
