中國有色收購澳大利亞稀土礦宣告失敗
經(jīng)濟(jì)觀察網(wǎng)（記者 李平）中國有色礦業(yè)集團(tuán)有限公司9月24日決定終止收購澳大利亞稀土生產(chǎn)商Lynas控股權(quán)的交易。中國有色公司稱，放棄收購的原因是澳大利亞外商投資審核委員會(huì)針對(duì)這項(xiàng)交易提出了過于苛刻的條件，這些條件包括：中國有色持股比例不得超過50%，而且在Lynas董事會(huì)中不能取得相應(yīng)的多數(shù)席位。
而苛刻的條件還不止于此，中國有色的一份聲明稱，“由于最近澳洲外國投資審核委員會(huì)尋求更多類似的承諾，中國有色礦業(yè)集團(tuán)有限公司終止了這項(xiàng)交易。”
中國有色冶金協(xié)會(huì)的一位分析人士稱，這項(xiàng)交易的失敗反映了澳洲國內(nèi)對(duì)外來投資的保護(hù)主義情緒正在加重。當(dāng)?shù)孛襟w的報(bào)道稱，中國有色放棄交易的舉動(dòng)讓澳洲公眾和政界感到鼓舞。
有更多的證據(jù)顯示，這種保護(hù)主義情緒還在蔓延，并沖擊來自中國的投資項(xiàng)目。路透社報(bào)道稱，9月24日稍早，澳洲國防部針對(duì)中國武漢鋼鐵股份有限公司澳洲分公司與澳洲Western Plains Resources成立合資公司一事表示反對(duì)。路透社認(rèn)為，意味著該項(xiàng)目項(xiàng)目不會(huì)得到批準(zhǔn)。
今年5月，Western Plains公司與武鋼簽署了投資協(xié)議，武鋼將斥資300萬獲得Western Plains公司約10%的股份，并以4.5億收購Western Plains旗下Hawks Nest鐵礦石項(xiàng)目50%的股權(quán)。
此鐵礦在南澳一處軍事區(qū)域內(nèi)，該區(qū)域占南澳總面積的13%，區(qū)內(nèi)有逾120處礦產(chǎn)，其中的Challenger和Prominent Hill等兩處礦區(qū)都已順利得到開發(fā)。
